Privacy policy
We collect your personal information for one reason: to find it on people-search sites and get it taken down. We never sell it.
Last updated: Draft, not yet in effect
Placeholder: replace before launch
This is draft text so the page can be designed and linked. It hasn’t been reviewed by a lawyer and isn’t our final policy.
What we collect
- What you give us: your name and other names, birth year, where you live and have lived, phone numbers and email addresses, and the authorization you sign so we can act for you.
- What we find: the people-search sites that list you, what each one shows, and screenshots that prove a listing was removed.
- Your account: your sign-in email and your plan. Card details are held by our payment provider; we never see the full number.
- Technical details: a sign-in cookie, and a scrambled form of your IP address to limit sign-in attempts.
How we use it
To search for you on people-search sites, send removal requests in your name, show you your results and proof, and email you about your account. We don’t use it for advertising, and we never sell or rent it.
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. When you ask us to delete your account we delete your details, results, removal requests and proof. We keep billing records only as long as tax law requires. [Retention periods to be confirmed.]
Your choices
In Settings, Account you can download a copy of your data and take back your authorization. To delete your account, contact us and we delete it. You can change your details in Your details at any time.
Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under state privacy laws, such as the right to know, correct or delete your information. [State-by-state wording to be added.]
